We Have a Winner!
August 18, 2008
The Hybrid Hysteria Raffle winner was drawn before a crowd of hundreds in front of the Levoy Theatre.
And the lucky winner is... Kathy Procopio!
Kathy is a guidance supervisor at Millville Senior High School, and was one of the first to buy a ticket when they went on sale.
Kathy's phone was on the fritz all weekend thanks to a Verizon snafu and she couldn't be reached by the LTPS to tell her she'd won the car. It wasn't until she read the paper Monday morning that she discovered she was the owner of a new 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid.
Congratulations, Kathy!
Keep watching the papers and this website — or sign up for our eNewsletter — to learn about our next fundraiser coming soon.

Breaking news!!!!
Levoy raffle Extended 'til August 18!
July 13, 2008
The Hybrid Hysteria Raffle has been doing some gangbusters business.
We've been hearing from a lot of participants that they'd like to buy more tickets, but with gas prices and the general economy what they are, they can't.
So we asked the State of New Jersey (who oversees and licenses such things as raffles) if we could extend our Hybrid Hysteria until the next Third Friday, August 15. The State said "yes" (yay!) and that's exactly what we're doing.
So now you have one fewer excuse not to buy a ticket (or more) from us.
Ticket outlets are being added regularly, so be sure to check our list to see if there's one located near you.

2008 Honda Civic hybrid raffle to benefit the levoy!
June 23, 2008

A 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid, with a retail value
of $23,235.00, will be raffled during Millville’s Third Friday, July
18, at 9 PM, in front of The Levoy Theatre. Cost of
each ticket is $20.00.
The entire proceeds of the car raffle will benefit The Levoy Theatre Renaissance. “The July 18th car raffle is the first in a series of fundraising initiatives undertaken by the LTPS Board of Directors to spur the pace of restoration of our historic theatre,” Board Chair Lauren Van Embden stated.
“These initiatives are imperative if we are to compete successfully for available grants from the State of New Jersey and other funding sources.”
The Honda Civic Hybrid was purchased from Rossi Honda of Vineland.
Tickets are available at selected businesses, displaying the “Hybrid Hysteria” poster, or by contacting the Levoy Theatre at 856.327.9870.
Click here for a complete list of participating
businesses, together with
rules and regulations concerning the raffle.

Off Broad Street Players
Join The LTPS Team!
March 20, 2008
We are happy to announce that Bridgeton-based Off Broad Street Players (OBSP) have joined forces with the Levoy Theatre Preservation Society to restore and reopen Millville's 100-year-old historic landmark theatre.
This partnership designates the OBSP as the home theatre company of the Levoy and allows both organizations to share resources and personnel. Together, our organizations expect our restoration efforts to kick into high-gear with reopening within the next 12 months. Beginning immediately, we are starting the Levoy Renaissance Campaign to raise the necessary capital to get the job done. Donate through our link here.
But there's something else we hope you'll do right now that won't cost much at all.
Presently, we are collecting signatures of support for The Renissance Campaign to show our potential funders the overwhelming support that exists for our project. Please, we urge you to download, sign and return our downloadable support PDF form from our website or the OBSP website. This PDF is a special form that will allow you to fill it out on your computer and print it out for your signature. Just mail, fax or eMail it back to the address on the form.
You don't have to make a donation. All we want from you right now is your signature as a show of support and solidarity for our project. Tell your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to do the same. Print out copies to give to those who are less tech-savvy. You don't even need to live in Cumberland County! But you do need to be at least 18 years of age (sorry kids).
Our goal is at least 3000 signatures. C'mon, everybody! We can do this! Thanks for your continued support!

See Us Third Fridays
During the active construction phase of our project we can no longer allow
visitors inside the theatre on Third Fridays (we like our patrons without
construction debris head wounds).
But feel free to visit with us outside the theatre between 6:00 and 9:30 on Third Friday evenings. We have popcorn, sodas and other movie-theatre-type snacks for sale at very non-movie-theatre-type prices. During colder weather, we have hot cocoa and other warm drinks available for purchase.
All proceeds go towards keeping the lights on at the Levoy.
